Fecal Transplants
A Fecal Transplant goes by different names like Fecal Microbiota Transplantation (FMT), poop transplant, or Fecal Bacteria therapies are a few.
The Fecal Transplant does a lot more than just replacing the bacteria in the gut. Your dog’s GI Tract is important to his or her immune system. Replenishing the bacteria with a sample from a healthy donor can start to rebuild the immune system from the inside. Balancing the bacteria in their gut is important.
Fecal transplants may help treat gastrointestinal infections and other immune-related conditions.
